Hi, my name is
Giovanni D'Amico.
Write code, deploy, repeat.
I'm a Junior Web Developer with a strong foundation in front-end and back-end development gained through the AI-Augmented Full-Stack Software Development Skills Bootcamp. Skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Django, Wagtail, with experience in agile, team-based projects and industry best practices.
01.About me
I'm Giovanni, a junior full-stack developer based in Bristol. I recently retrained in tech through an AI-Augmented Full-Stack bootcamp, and since then, I've focused on continuous learning and growth. There's always something new to dig into.
I really enjoy the process of problem-solving and deploying finished products. I use AI to work smarter and faster, but the thinking and decisions are mine. It's a tool in the box, not a shortcut.
Personally, I gravitate more towards back-end work. I like the logic side of things, how to structure something well and how to get it running smoothly in production. That said, I enjoy full-stack too. There's something satisfying about building both sides and seeing it all come together.
I also studied Computer Generated Animation at uni, so I've got a bit of a creative background in the mix. It means I tend to think about problems differently, and I communicate well with all sorts of people.
What I'm working with right now: Python, Django, Wagtail, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Git & GitHub.
